Customizing 21 System Change the following system options to personalize your Blu-ray Disc™/DVD Player. ❖ Screen Saver: Turns On/Off the screen saver mode. It helps to protect the TV screen. On: Sets the screen saver to activate after approximately 5 minutes of non-operation. You can turn off the screen saver by pressing the SETUP button. The Blu-ray Disc™/DVD Player switches to standby mode after approximately 10 minutes of non-operation once the screen saver has been activated. Off: Turns Off the screen saver mode. ❖ Disc Auto Playback: Turns On/Off the disc automatic playback mode. On: The disc automatically plays when loaded. Off: Turns Off disc automatic playback mode. ❖ CEC: This player supports HDMI®-CEC using the HDMI®-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) protocol. You can use a single remote control to control all HDMI®-CEC-compliant devices that are connected through HDMI® jacks. On: Turns On the HDMI®-CEC features. With CEC enabled, during TV standby (with the Blu-ray Disc™/DVD Player on), pressing the SETUP or PLAY/PAUSE button powers On the TV. When turning the TV off, the player automatically turns off as well. Off: Disables the HDMI®-CEC features. ❖ Load Default: Resets all settings of the Blu-ray Disc™/DVD Player to initial default state. Follow the instructions on the TV screen to confirm the default setting operation. 1 Select Load Default. A dialog box appears. Load Default Do you want to load default? OK Cancel (Sample Illustration) Setup Menu - Load Default pop-up 2 Select OK. 3 This may take a few minutes. Please wait... Load Default Loading default, please wait... 30% (Sample Illustration) Setup Menu - Load Default loading progress A Welcome screen appears on your TV screen. 4 Press the OK button to enter the language settings screen. 5 Press the ( / arrow) buttons to select a language option.
