Advanced Operation Speed Dial Making a Call Using Speed Dial There are three ways to begin a Speed Dial Call. 1. Dial * ...or press Spdial on a DKT3000-series telephone ...or press the Speed Dial feature key on any DKT. 2. Dial the Station or System Speed Dial Number. Station Speed Dial numbers occupy numbers 100~199. System Speed Dial numbers occupy numbers 200~999. Storing a Station Speed Dial Number There are three ways to store a Station Speed Dial number, including Programming Mode, Access Codes and through system programming by your CTX System Administrator. ➤ To store a Station Speed Dial Number using User Programming Mode 1. Press #9876 to enter User Programming Mode. The LCD shows "USER PROG MODE." 2. Press the fixed Spdial button or the Speed Dial feature button. The LCD shows "SPEED DIAL MODE." If this display does not appear, see your CTX System Administrator to determine if Speed Dialling memory is assigned to your telephone. 3. Press 1. The LCD shows "INDEX NUMBER." 4. Enter the two digits which, combined with the 1, form the Station Speed Dial Number. Example: Entering 09 would result in storing Station Speed Dial Number 109. The LCD shows this number in the upper left corner. If there is already a number stored, it appears below the Speed Dial Number. 5. Enter the desired destination. It appears in the lower right of the LCD. Instructions are given below for more complex dialling strings, usually telephone numbers. 6. Press the fixed Spdial button or the Speed Dial feature button. The LCD shows "DATA PROGRAMMED." 7. If you want to enter another number, press the fixed Spdial button or the Speed Dial feature button. The LCD shows "SPEED DIAL MODE." 8. Pressing Spdial or the Speed Dial feature button again toggles you between User Programming and Speed Dial mode. Lift and replace the handset to exit User Programming altogether. Making a Call Using Speed Dial
There are three ways to begin a Speed Dial Call.
1.

on a DKT3000-series telephone
...or press the
Speed Dial
feature key on any DKT.
2.
Dial the Station or System Speed Dial Number. Station Speed Dial numbers occupy numbers
100~199. System Speed Dial numbers occupy numbers 200~999.
Storing a Station Speed Dial Number
There are three ways to store a Station Speed Dial number, including Programming Mode, Access
Codes and through system programming by your CTX System Administrator.
To store a Station Speed Dial Number using User Programming Mode
1.
Press

to enter User Programming Mode. The LCD shows “USER PROG MODE.”
2.
Press the fixed
Spdial
button or the Speed Dial feature button. The LCD shows “SPEED DIAL
MODE.” If this display does not appear, see your CTX System Administrator to determine if Speed
Dialling memory is assigned to your telephone.

Press

. The LCD shows “INDEX NUMBER.”
