User's Manual HW SETUP Network Boot Protocol This feature sets the protocol to remotely boot from the network when Wake-up on LAN is enabled. [PXE] Sets PXE as the protocol. (Default) [RPL] Sets RPL as the protocol. NOTE: The Wake-up on LAN function consumes power even when the system is off. Leave the universal AC adaptor connected while using this feature. Keyboard Wake-up on Keyboard When this feature is enabled and the computer is in Standby mode, you can turn on the computer by pressing any key. It is effective only for the internal keyboard and only when the computer is in standby mode. Enabled Enables the Wake-up on Keyboard. Disabled Disables the Wake-up on Keyboard. (Default) CPU This function lets you set the CPU operating mode. Dynamic CPU Frequency Mode This option lets you choose from the following settings: Dynamically Switchable CPU power consumption and clock speed automatic switching function is enabled. When the computer is in use, CPU operation is automatically switched when necessary. (Default) Always High CPU power consumption and clock speed automatic switching function is disabled. The CPU always runs at its fastest speed. Always Low CPU power consumption and clock speed automatic switching function is disabled. The CPU always runs at low power consumption and low speed. 7-4
