106 Utilities and Applications Chroma Tune for TOSHIBA Chroma Tune for TOSHIBA (Available on certain models.) Wide-color-gamut displays offer much more flexibility in color-space viewing options than standard-gamut displays. However, viewing content in the wrong color space can result in less-than-optimal viewing conditions. Chroma Tune® controls the color space so that the colors on the display match the actual colors in the content you are viewing. Toshiba's Wide-Color Gamut Laptop Toshiba's best-in-class display gives users the freedom to view many different types of content in the color space they were designed for. The display is Technicolor® Color Certified to meet the same strict standards for color accuracy used in Hollywood and throughout the media and entertainment industries. Technicolor Color Certified Technicolor has a 100-year history of improving the colors we see, in movie theaters and on television. Technicolor has been an integral part of the evolving color technologies. Technicolor is now using that knowledge to improve the viewing experience on computer displays of all kinds. Technicolor has taken the existing standards of sRGB (created for the Internet) and Adobe® RGB (created for the color printing industry) and put measurable tolerances around the standards, creating the world's first color certification program for computer display devices. Technicolor Color Certified is a designation reserved for display devices that have been tested and verified during the manufacturing process to meet the Technicolor Color Certified specification. Chroma Tune Chrome Tune is an easy-to-use application that allows you to change the way your laptop handles on-screen colors. From changing the automatic color settings, to making manual color changes, Chroma Tune is the cockpit for managing color.
