108 Utilities and Applications Chroma Tune for TOSHIBA Dynamic ICC Management resets the Windows default ICC profile to match the colors on the screen. Without this proper alignment, you could unknowingly open a color-managed application using an ICC profile that is not matched to the currently selected color space. How to Use Chroma Tune Chroma Tune is an excellent tool to remove the guesswork and trial and error from managing the proper color settings of your display. While there are sophisticated aftermarket colorimeters that are favored by professional users, Chroma Tune is designed to be a simple and effective way to manage the display's color capabilities. Out of the box, Chroma Tune is set to the Technicolor color space with Dynamic ICC Management enabled and App Sync disabled. These are the ideal settings for most of today's viewing requirements. If you need to view wide-gamut content, such as professional photography, you can manually change the color space to Adobe RGB. Doing this with the default settings in place will also automatically switch the ICC profile to Adobe RGB. To change the Color Space: 1 In the Search field, type Chroma Tune, and then select Chroma Tune for TOSHIBA. 2 Select one of the following Color Spaces: ❖ Technicolor (default)-Technicolor Color Certified setting. Recommended for viewing most applications. ❖ Cool-Recommended for viewing text files in bright lighting conditions. ❖ Warm-Recommended for viewing text files in dark lighting conditions. ❖ Rec. 709-Recommended for viewing media in darker ambient lighting conditions. ❖ Adobe RGB-Recommended for editing and viewing photos and media created in Adobe RGB. ❖ Native-The screen appears in its native state with no white point or gamma adjustments.
