AUTO SETUP ■ Troubleshooting for auto setup procedure Before auto setup Error message Connect MIC Cause Optimizer microphone is not connected. Unplug HP Headphones are connected. Only one surround channel signal is detected. • Check the surround speaker connections. Only one presence channel signal is detected. • Check the presence speaker connections. Only right surround back channel signal is detected. • Connect the surround back speaker to the LEFT SURROUND BACK SPEAKERS terminal if you only have one surround back speaker. Background noise is too loud. • Try the auto setup procedure in a quiet environment. • Turn off noisy electric equipment like air conditioners (etc.) or move them away from the optimizer microphone. Only one surround channel signal is detected.

Check the surround speaker connections.

Only one presence channel signal is detected.

Only right surround back channel signal is
detected.

Connect the surround back speaker to the LEFT
SURROUND BACK SPEAKERS terminal if you
only have one surround back speaker.
