Playing with Rhythm and Auto Accompaniment (Styles) Style Playback Variations Styles have Intro, Main A/B, and Ending sections. The Main A section is played as default pattern, but you can add variations to a performance by switching sections. The operations for switching to each section are described below.  Intro: While playback is stopped, press the [INTRO/ ENDING/rit.] button. When playback starts, after the Intro finishes, it automatically switches to either Main A or Main B. INTRO≥A Section after Intro (Main A or Main B)  Main A/B: Press the [MAIN/AUTO FILL] button. If playback is stopped, it switches between Main A and Main B. If during playback, an Auto Fill is inserted when switching between Main A and Main B. Stopped MAIN A Selected section (Main A or B) Playing back FILL A≥B Auto Fill: A short, dynamic riff or rhythmic break is inserted automatically when switching between Main A and Main B.  Ending: During playback, press the [INTRO/ENDING/rit.] button. The Section switches to the Ending. When the Ending finishes, Style playback stops automatically. ENDING You can have the Ending gradually slow down (ritardando) and end, by pressing the [INTRO/ ENDING/rit.] button again while the Ending is playing back. Adjusting the Volume of the Style You can adjust the volume balance between Style playback and your keyboard performance. Adjust it in the Function Settings (page 63, Function 031). Style Sync Stop When you press the [SYNC STOP] button to turn on this function, the Style will only play while pressing chords in the Auto Accompaniment area of the keyboard. Releasing all the notes will stop Style playback. Press the [SYNC STOP] button again to turn it off. 00180sGtPop Appears when the Sync Stop function is on. NOTE This function can be used when ACMP is turned on. Turning Each Style Track On/Off A Style consists of multiple tracks. To play back or mute specific tracks, use the TRACK CONTROL buttons to turn individual tracks on and off. Styles have Intro, Main A/B, and Ending sections.
The Main A section is played as default pattern, but
you can add variations to a performance by switching
sections. The operations for switching to each sec-
tion are described below.
Intro:
While playback is stopped, press the
[INTRO/
ENDING/rit.]
button. When playback starts, after
the Intro finishes, it automatically switches to
either Main A or Main B.
Main A/B:
Press the
[MAIN/AUTO FILL]
button. If playback
is stopped, it switches between Main A and Main
B. If during playback, an Auto Fill is inserted
when switching between Main A and Main B.
Auto Fill:
A short, dynamic riff or rhythmic break is inserted
automatically when switching between Main A
and Main B.
Ending:
During playback, press the
[INTRO/ENDING/rit.]
button.
The Section switches to the Ending. When the
Ending finishes, Style playback stops automati-
cally.

Adjusting the Volume of the Style
You can adjust the volume balance between Style
playback and your keyboard performance. Adjust it in
the Function Settings (page 63, Function 031).
Changing the Tempo
Refer to “Changing the Tempo” on page 23.
When you press the
[SYNC STOP]
button to turn on
this function, the Style will only play while pressing
chords in the Auto Accompaniment area of the key-
board. Releasing all the notes will stop Style play-
back. Press the
[SYNC STOP]
button again to turn it
off.
A Style consists of multiple tracks. To play back or
mute specific tracks, use the
