Connecting to External Devices Playing an External Audio Device with the Built-in Speakers By connecting an audio device such as a smartphone to the instrument's [AUX IN] jack, you can output the sound of the audio device through the instrument's speakers. This lets you play the keyboard along with the playback of your audio device, for practice or performance. NOTICE To avoid damaging devices, first turn on the power to the external device, and then to the instrument. When turning off the power, first turn off the power to the instrument, then to the external device. 1 Connect the headphone jack of an audio device to the instrument's [AUX IN] jack by using an audio cable.
