Connecting video cameras and portable audio players CONNECTIONS Connecting external devices Transmitting input A/V to external devices Use the VIDEO AUX jacks on the front panel to temporarily connect video cameras, game consoles, or portable audio devices to the receiver. Select the V-AUX input to use these connected devices. AUDIO OUT RADIO STRAIGHT VIDEO AUX PORTABLE VIDEO L AUDIO R VL R Audio output L Audio output R V Video output AUDIO VIDEO Portable audio player Video cameras • Be sure to turn down the volume when connecting this unit and the other devices. • When external components are connected to both the PORTABLE jack and the AUDIO jacks, the sound output from the PORTABLE jack is transmitted. This receiver can transmit selected incoming analog audio/video signals to external devices through the AV OUT and AUDIO OUT jacks. You can record these input audio and video signals to VCRs or similar devices, or send them to other TVs or external devices.
