Hardware This shows the hardware version of the device. System MAC Address This shows the MAC address used over the Ethernet connections. EoC MAC Address This shows the MAC address used over the Coax connections. Bootcode This shows the version of the program code that loads the system firmware. System Firmware This shows the version of the system firmware. Working EoC Driver Back This shows the version of the Ethernet over Coax device driver. Click Back to return to the previous screen. 2.2 Securing the EOC350-TS Do the following things regularly to make the EOC350-TS more secure and to manage the EOC350TS more effectively. • Change the password. Use a password that's not easy to guess and that consists of different types of characters, such as numbers and letters. • Write down the password and put it in a safe place. • Back up the configuration (and make sure you know how to restore it). Restoring an earlier working configuration may be useful if the device becomes unstable or even crashes. If you forget your password, you will have to reset the EOC350-TS to its factory default settings. If you backed up an earlier configuration file, you would not have to totally re-configure the EOC350TS. You could simply restore your last configuration. 16 EOC350 Series User's Guide
