Table 2-1 Link Info LABEL DESCRIPTION Wireless Network Status The following fields show the information of the network to which the G-162 is connected. If there is no associated wireless network, they are blank. Profile Name This is the name of the profile you are currently using. A profile is a set of wireless parameters that you need to connect to a wireless network. If you do not configure and activate a new profile, each time you start the G-162, the G-162 uses the default profile to associate with an available network. Network Name (SSID) This field displays the name (SSID) of the wireless network to which the G-162 belongs. The SSID (Service Set Identity) is a unique name shared among all wireless devices in a wireless network. Wireless devices must have the same SSID to communicate with each other. 2-2 Link Info
