CHAPTER 12 Filtering 12.1 Filtering Overview This chapter discusses MAC address port filtering. Filtering means sifting traffic going through the Switch based on the source and/or destination MAC addresses and VLAN group (ID). 12.1.1 What You Can Do Use the Filtering screen (Section 12.2 on page 110) to create rules for traffic going through the Switch. 12.2 Configure a Filtering Rule Use this screen to create rules for traffic going through the Switch.
