Maintenance 299 Installing the Engine Air Filter Element Note: Clean the inside of the air filter assembly before installing a new air filter. 1. Install the new engine air filter into the engine air cleaner assembly. 2. Install the air cleaner cover (B) and tighten the 5 bolts. 3. Position the air cleaner assembly (A) onto the engine and make sure the assembly is aligned with the studs. 4.
