32 Child Safety 3. Clip the tether strap to the anchor as shown. 4. Tighten the child safety seat tether strap according to the manufacturer's instructions. If your child restraint system is equipped with a tether strap, and the child restraint manufacturer recommends its use, Ford also recommends its use. CHILD SAFETY LOCKS When these locks are set, the rear doors cannot be opened from the inside.
