Press the release button. Except LX models To shift from: P to R R to P N to R D to S S to D D to N N to D R to N Do this: Press the brake pedal and press the release button. Press the release button. Move the lever. Move the lever. To shift from Park to any position, press firmly on the brake pedal, press the release button on the front of the shift lever, then pull the lever.
