5 Advanced Features and System Tools This chapter describes advanced features and system tools available to you with your Home Wireless Gateway. NOTE: 3com recommends that you use the default values for all advanced settings, particularly for the NAT, firewall monitoring and logging, and DHCP settings. Status Selecting Status from the Main menu displays the Status screen (Figure 15) in your Web browser window. This screen displays a graphical representation of your home network and Internet connection. Flashing arrows signify that the connection is operating. Broken arrows (such as the "Wireless AP" arrow in Figure 15) signify that a connection is not being used or is not functioning correctly.
