5 Advanced Features and System Tools DHCP Server The home wireless gateway contains a Dynamic Host Configuration (DHCP) server that can automatically configure the TCP/IP settings of every computer on your home network. Selecting DHCP Server from the Advanced Settings portion of the Options menu in the Setup screen displays the Advanced Settings | DHCP Server screen (Figure 18). By selecting YES (default), you turn on the gateway's DHCP server, enabling it to automatically configure the TCP/IP settings of all the computers on your home network If you select NO, your gateway will not be able to automatically assign IP addresses to the computers on your network. DHCP Server

Selecting
DHCP Server
