Turning the Computer Off 1 Open the Special menu and choose Shut Down. If your keyboard is connected directly to one of the computer's USB ports, you can also press the keyboard power button (®). A message asks if you want to shut down your computer. 2 Press the Return key or click Shut Down on the screen. If any applications are still open, a message asks if you want to save your work before the computer shuts down. Your files or system software could be damaged if your computer is not shut down properly. Also, the only way to completely disconnect power from the computer is by unplugging one end of the power cord from the outlet or power strip or from the back of the computer. Turning the Computer Off

Open the Special menu and choose Shut Down.
If your keyboard is connected directly to one of the computer’s USB ports, you can also
