6 To replace the carrier and drive, align the tabs on the rear of the carrier with the slots in the computer chassis and slide the carrier in. Slide the hard disk drive into the computer at an angle, and lower it into position. Make sure the two tabs on the underside of the drive carrier engage the slots on the floor of the computer. If you are installing hard disk drives in drive positions 1 and 2, you must install the drive in position 1 before you install the drive in position 2. Install the attachment screw to secure the drive carrier. 7 Reinsert the low-profile attachment screw in each carrier you replace. Use the screw you removed in step 3. Working Inside the Computer 45

Reinsert the low-proļ¬le attachment screw in each carrier you replace.
Use the screw you removed in step 3.

Install the
attachment screw
to secure the drive carrier.
If you are installing hard
