Note Threading the needle manually z If the needle was not completely threaded, but a loop in the thread was formed in the (without using the needle threader) eye of the needle, carefully pull the loop through the eye of the needle to pull out the end of the thread. When using specialty thread, such as transparent nylon thread or metallic thread, a wing needle or a twin needle which cannot be used with the needle 1 threader, thread the needle as described below. CAUTION ● When pulling out the thread, do not pull it with extreme force, otherwise the needle may break or bend. Now that the upper threading and the lower threading are finished, you are ready to begin sewing. Note z If the needle is not raised, the needle threader cannot thread the needle. Be sure to press ("Needle Position" button) to raise the needle before using the needle threader. CAUTION ● Do not touch the ("Start/Stop" button), ("Needle Position" button) or ("Reverse/Reinforcement stitch" button). If one of the buttons is accidentally pressed, the machine will begin sewing and your finger may be pricked with the needle or the needle may break.
