Overlay Printing This section describes what Overlay Printing is, how to create a form file, and how to print with an Overlay. What Is Overlay Printing? Overlay Printing overlays text data onto a form file. 4 For example, if the format of a report or bill is created in application software as a form file, you can create a perfectly formatted document by overlaying a text data document onto the form file. Special Print Options To perform Overlay Printing, form files are required.
