IMPORTANT • Observe the following precautions while the ACCESS indicator is on or flashing. Failing to do so may result in permanent data loss. - Do not open the memory card slot cover. - Do not disconnect the power source or turn off the camcorder. - Do not change the camcorder's operating mode. • When recording photos on an Eye-Fi card, photos will be uploaded automatically if you are within the range of a configured network. Make sure Eye-Fi cards are approved in the country or region of use. See also Using an Eye-Fi card ( 128). NOTES • You cannot take photos when [Frame Rate] is set to [ PF30] or [ PF24]. Also, you cannot take photos when digital zoom is acti- vated (light blue and dark blue area on the zoom bar). • When [Flicker Reduction] is set to [ 50 Hz] or [ 60 Hz], the camcorder will automatically adjust the shutter speed. Selecting Photo Size and Quality Photos are recorded as JPG files. As a general rule, select a larger photo size for higher quality. Select the [ 1920x1080] size for photos with an aspect ratio of 16:9.
