Maintenance Replacing the Cartridge This section describes how to remove the used cartridge and replace it with a new one. Before replacing the cartridge, be sure to read the section "When to Replace the Cartridge," on p. 8-4. NOTE When handling the cartridge, take care not to allow the toner on the jammed paper to come into contact with your hands or clothing. If they become dirty, wash them immediately with cold water. Washing with warm water will set the toner, and make it impossible to remove the toner stains. 1 Open the front cover. 8 2 Remove the cartridge from the machine. 8-14 Replacing the Cartridge

Replacing the Cartridge
