Q A Q A Q A Q A Is the telephone cable connected properly? Make sure the cable is connected properly. (See "Set Up the Machine," in the Starter Guide.) Is the power cord plugged in securely? Check that the power cord is securely plugged into the machine and into the wall outlet. If the machine is plugged into a power strip, make sure the power strip is plugged in and turned on. Is the main power switch turned on? Turn on the main power switch. Is the machine set for the correct telephone line type? Make sure the machine is set for the correct telephone line type. Is the telephone cable connected properly?

Make sure the cable is connected properly. (See
“Set Up the Machine,” in the Starter Guide.)
