Adding New Media Information (Updating Media Information) Add or update the media information in your printers using the latest media information files (Media Information File/.am1x files) released by Canon. Important • Printers must be connected to add or edit their media information. Refer to "Changing the Base Printer" and reselect the base printer to add and edit media information. • Do not attempt to print or turn off the printer while the program is communicating with the printer. Do not add or edit media information on a printer from another computer while it is being added or edited. • We recommend backing up the media information in advance before adding or editing media information.
