Shooting a Snapshot 1. Press [ ] (REC). 2. Select " (Snapshot)" as the recording mode (page 62). This will cause " " (Snapshot mode icon) to appear on the monitor screen. Snapshot mode Icon Remaining Snapshot Memory Capacity Focus Frame 3. Focus the image. While the focus frame is aligned with the subject, half-press the shutter button. Auto Focus will focus the image automatically, and the focus frame and operation lamp will turn green. The aperture, shutter speed, and ISO sensitivity also will be set automatically.
