Secure Path makes all I/O path connections between the affected Fibre Host Adapter and active array controllers inactive. The standby array controller in every affected RA4000/RA4100 Array becomes the active array controller. The Fibre Channel SAN Switch connected to the newly active array controllers becomes the active I/O path for the entire FC-AL. The Fibre Channel SAN Switch connected to the failed Fibre Channel cable becomes inactive. The second Fibre Host Adapter in each node, which is connected to the only active Fibre Channel SAN Switch, becomes the only active Fibre Host Adapter in the node's pair.
