Maintenance Cleaning the Platen If labels, paper dust, or adhesive has adhered to the platen, paper may get jammed, or printing position may become incorrect. Clean the platen following the procedure below. 1 Check that the printer has been turned off. 2 If paper has been loaded, remove it. Clean the platen following the procedure below.
