It prints a check pattern that your printer then reads to see if you have any clogged nozzles, which it then cleans, if necessary. 1. Load a few sheets of plain paper in the sheet feeder (see page 6). 2. Do one of the following: Windows: Right-click the icon in the bottom right corner of your screen (the taskbar) and select Printer Settings. Open the Utility tab, select Auto Nozzle Check and Cleaning, and click OK. Mac OS X: Open the Applications folder, open the Epson Software folder, open the EPSON Printer Utility4, select SP R2000, and click OK. Then select Auto Nozzle Check and Cleaning. Checking and Cleaning the Print Head
You can check and clean the print head nozzles automatically using the Auto
Nozzle Check and Cleaning utility in your printer software. It prints a check
