If the DIP switch setting is changed after the printer power is turned on, the change is not effective. If DIP switches 2-7 or 2-8 is on while the printer power is turned on, the printer may be reset, depending on the signal state. DIP switches should not be operated while the printer power is turned on. When pin 6 of the interface connector is used for the reset signal, the printer is reset at MARK on the RS-232 level. When pin 25 of the interface connector is used for the reset signal, the printer is reset at SPACE on the RS-232 level or at HIGH on the TTL level.
