PRIMARY FLIGHT DISPLAY PRIMARY FLIGHT DISPLAY (PFD) Barometric Minimums Bug For altitude awareness, a barometric Altitude Minimums Bug commonly referred to as the Minimums Bug, can be set. When active and within 2500 feet of the selected minimums altitude, the minimums bug setting is displayed to the bottom left of the altimeter. When set, a bug appears parked at the bottom of the altitude tape and moves up the tape as the set altitude comes into view. • When the aircraft altitude descends to within 2500 feet of the selected altitude minimums setting, the BARO MIN box appears with the altitude value in cyan text. Once in range, the Minimums Bug appears in cyan on the altitude tape. A portion of the Minimums Bug will be displayed at the bottom of the altitude tape if the selected altitude minimums bug is off of the tape. • When the aircraft is within 100 feet of the selected altitude minimums setting, the bug and the altitude text turn white. • Once the aircraft reaches the selected altitude minimums setting, the bug and the altitude text turn yellow and the aural alert, "Minimums, minimums" is heard one time.
