Warning High voltages can enter your notebook through both the power cord and the modem connection. To protect your notebook and avoid electrical shock, use a surge protector. Some keys perform specific actions when pressed alone and other actions when pressed in combination with another key. and Accessories Using the DVD drive You can use your notebook to enjoy a wide variety of multimedia features. Identifying drive types Your Gateway notebook may contain one of the following drive types. Managing Power Monitoring the battery charge Your new Gateway notebook is designed to provide an exceptional balance of performance and portability.
