clear cache Description Clears unwritable data in both controllers' cache for a specified volume, or unneeded orphaned data for volumes that are no longer online or that no longer exist. Input clear cache [volume volume] Parameter Description volume volume Optional. Specifies the volume by its name or serial number. For the syntax to use, see "Volume Syntax" on page 26. If this parameter is omitted, the command clears any unneeded orphaned data for volumes that are no longer online or that no longer exist.
