How Host Explorer Helps You Create Hosts When you create a host, the system displays the unassigned WWNs or iSCSI names as follows: • When the Host Explorer agent is running on the attached hosts, the system automatically groups the WWNs or iSCSI names for the host together, which helps you create the host. • If the Host Explorer agent is not running on the attached hosts, the system cannot determine which host each WWN or iSCSI name belongs to, and you must manually assign each WWN or iSCSI name to a host.
