Removing the bezel When working with some devices, such as additional optical drives, you must first remove the bezel to access the device. To remove the bezel, complete the following steps: 1. Remove the side cover (see "Removing the side cover" on page 18). 2. From inside the server, locate the two bezel release tabs at the bottom of the bezel. Bezel release tabs 3. Press up slightly on both bezel release tabs while pulling the bottom of the bezel away from the server to disengage the tabs and remove the bezel. 4. Store the bezel in a safe place. Removing
the
bezel
When
working
with
some
devices,
such
as
additional
optical
drives,
you
must
first
remove
the
bezel
to
access
the
device.
To
remove
the
bezel,
complete
the
following
steps:
1.
Remove
the

2.
From
inside
the
server,
locate
the

bezel
release
tabs
at
the
bottom
of
the
bezel.
