Installing the side cover Note: You might find it easier to lay the server on its side to replace the side cover. To replace the side cover, complete the following steps: 1. Before installing the cover, check that all cables, adapters, and other components are installed and seated correctly and that you have not left loose tools or parts inside the server. 2. Align the cover over the server (with the rear of the cover slightly hanging off the rear of the server) and slide the cover toward the front of the server until it is completely closed. Thumbscrews 3. Use the two thumbscrews that you removed earlier to secure the cover to the server chassis. Chapter 2. Installing options 35

find

cover.
To
replace
the
side
cover,
complete
the
following
steps:
1.
Before
installing
the
cover,

Align
the
cover
over
the
server
(with
the
rear
of

cover

cover

closed.
