5 MENU SCREEN DDSetmode (Continued)  Config Set mode Meter Squelch Level Adjust the squelch threshold level to between 0 and 50, in 1 digit steps. When the S-meter squelch is activated, only signals stronger than this set level are received. Noise Blanker Turns the noise blanker function ON or OFF. The Noise Blanker function eliminates pulse-type noise such as that from car ignitions. Noise Blanker Level Adjust the Noise blanker level to between 0 and 15, in 1 digit steps. The set level is effective when the Noise Blanker is activated. Noise Blanker Depth Adjust the Noise blanker depth to between 0 and 9, in 1 digit steps. The set level is effective when the Noise Blanker is activated. Clear Talk Level The Clear Talk function adjusts signals in the presence of noise using the DSP circuit.
