Unique functions This section introduces unique functions built into the ID51A/E. • See the PDF type Advanced Instructions's for more details. 1 QSO Recording function You can record a QSO audio in the MAIN band. You can select recording only the receive audio or both the transmit and receive audio. You can also store and view the QSO/RX log file. • T he log file stores following contents: R X Frequency, Operating mode (DV is fixed), Call sign of the caller station, Note after the call sign, Call sign of the called station, Access repeater call sign of the caller station or the gateway repeater call sign of your local area repeater, Access repeater call sign of the called station, Message included in the received call (up to 20 characters), and so on. • See page 72 or the PDF type Advanced Instructions's Section 11 for details. NOTE: This function requires a microSD card. xi 2 Auto Position Reply function When you receive a call addressed to your own call sign, but are in a situation that makes it difficult to operate the transceiver, this function automatically replies with your own call sign and transmits your position. • See the PDF type Advanced Instructions's Section 9 for details. w Your position is automatically transmitted. q A call addressed to your own call sign. Voice TX function
When you receive a call addressed to your own call sign, but
are in a situation that makes it difficult to operate the trans-
ceiver, this function automatically replies with your own call
sign and transmits your position.

You can record a QSO audio in the MAIN band.
You can select recording only the receive audio or both the
transmit and receive audio.
You can also store and view the QSO/RX log file.
The log file stores following contents:
RX Frequency, Operating mode (DV is fixed), Call sign of the caller
station, Note after the call sign, Call sign of the called station, Ac-
cess repeater call sign of the caller station or the gateway repeater
call sign of your local area repeater, Access repeater call sign of
the called station, Message included in the received call (up to 20
characters), and so on.
