To assign a virtual drive to multiple servers (available only when the Intel® Shared LUN feature has been activated - for instructions to activate the Intel® Shared LUN feature, see "Feature Activation" on page 132), follow these steps: 1. From the Storage view, select a virtual drive. 2. Choose Assign from the action menu. 3. Select Assign to multiple servers check box. 4. Select the desired drive number or the Do not assign option for each server. 5. Click Assign to apply the changes. Warning: It is not safe to unassign virtual drives from a compute module that is powered on because the compute module may be actively using the virtual drive. It is recommended to power off the compute module before reassigning virtual drives to another compute module.
