General TUNER If there seems to be a problem Symptom Remedy/Cause No sound comes out of the speakers. No picture is displayed on the screen. The unit does not work at all. • Adjust the volume to the optimum level. • Check the cords and connections. Turn on the screen. (☞ page 12) Reset the unit. (☞ page 3) The remote controller* does not work. AME automatic presetting does not work. Replace the battery. Store stations manually. (☞ page 29) Static noise while listening to the radio. Connect the antenna firmly. • Recordable/Rewritable discs cannot be played back. • Tracks on the Recordable/ Rewritable discs cannot be skipped. • Insert a finalized disc. • Finalize the discs with the component which you used for recording. No picture appears on the external monitor. • Connect the video cord correctly. • Select the correct input on the external monitor.
