Accounting System Settings Guide Introduction Introduction With the increasing popularity of office networks, it has become very common for multiple users to share a single printer or multi-function product. This has made it much easier for users to obtain printouts, but they then faced the problem of increasingly large amounts of printouts. To offset this situation, operation management tools known as accounting systems were created for such purposes as keeping track of total pages printed by each printer user, and settings upper limits on the printed page number totals. An accounting system manages the number of printed pages separately for each printing account, thus allowing billing management and instructions on reducing the number of printed pages to be handled efficiently. As a result, user awareness of costs and the environment is improved, making it possible to reduce the amount of paper used. The accounting system is managed using account codes that are set by the administrator for each account. Legal Notes Unauthorized reproduction of all or part of this guide is prohibited. Introduction
With the increasing popularity of office networks, it has become very common for
multiple users to share a single printer or multi-function product. This has made it
much easier for users to obtain printouts, but they then faced the problem of
increasingly large amounts of printouts. To offset this situation, operation management
tools known as accounting systems were created for such purposes as keeping track of
total pages printed by each printer user, and settings upper limits on the printed page
number totals.
An accounting system manages the number of printed pages separately for each
printing account, thus allowing billing management and instructions on reducing the
number of printed pages to be handled efficiently. As a result, user awareness of costs
and the environment is improved, making it possible to reduce the amount of paper
used.
The accounting system is managed using account codes that are set by the
administrator for each account.
