10 Getting to know your phone Installing the battery You must first install and charge the battery to begin setting up your device. 1. To remove the back cover, hold the phone firmly in one hand. With your other hand, lift off the back cover with your thumbnail as shown in figure below. NOTE Put your thumbnail into the Charger/USB Port hole and lift off the back cover. 2. Insert the battery into place by aligning the gold contacts on the battery and the phone and pressing it down until it clicks into place .

Installing the battery
You must first install and charge the battery to begin setting up your device.
1.
To remove the back cover, hold the phone firmly in one hand. With your
other hand, lift off the back cover with your thumbnail as shown in figure
below.
NOTE
Put your thumbnail into the Charger/USB Port hole and lift off the back cover.

Insert the battery into place by aligning the gold contacts on the battery
and the phone
and pressing it down until it clicks into place
