Option Description S High When the shutter is released, the camera detects one or more R Normal human faces (up to three), and processes the image to make (default setting) facial skin tones softer before saving the image. The degree of Q Low skin softening applied can be selected. k Off Disables skin softening. When skin softening is enabled, the icon for the current setting is displayed on the monitor during shooting (A6). When Off is selected, an icon for the current setting is not displayed. The effects of skin softening are not visible when framing pictures for shooting. Check the degree of skin softening performed in playback mode. Skin Softening
Enable skin softening.
When skin softening is enabled, the icon for the current setting is displayed on the
monitor during shooting (

6). When
Off
is selected, an icon for the current setting is
not displayed. The effects of skin softening are not visible when framing pictures for
shooting. Check the degree of skin softening performed in playback mode.
Smile Timer
