xLive View Framing Photographs in the Monitor Follow the steps below to take photographs in live view. 1 Rotate the live view switch. The mirror will be raised and the view through the lens will x be displayed in the camera monitor. The subject will no longer be visible in the viewfinder. The display varies with the option selected for AF-area mode (0 50). 51 i Time remaining (movie mode) The recording time remaining in movie mode. 58 o Movie quality The frame size and quality of movies recorded in movie mode. 60 !0 Monitor brightness Displayed while the L button is pressed; keep the button pressed and press 1 or 3 to adjust brightness (this applies to - the monitor only; exposure is not affected). 49
