1. Connect the charger to an AC wall socket. The text Charging is displayed briefly if the phone is switched on. If the battery is completely discharged, it may take a few minutes before the charging indicator appears on the display or before any calls can be made. 2. Connect the lead from the charger to the socket on the bottom of your phone. The charging time depends on the charger used. For example, charging a battery with the AC-1 charger takes up to 1 hour and 30 minutes while the phone is in the standby mode. ■ Switch the phone on and off Warning: Do not switch the phone on when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger. Press and hold the end key until the phone switches on or off. If the phone asks for a PIN code or the security code, scroll to the desired digit in the character bar, and select it . Repeat this for each digit of the code. If you enter an incorrect character, select Clear to delete it. Select Options > Accept to confirm the correct code.
