5. Using the menu Your phone offers a wide range of functions that are grouped in menus. Most of the menu functions are provided with a brief help text. To view the help text, scroll to the desired menu function, and wait. You can set the help text on or off using the Help text activation function in the Phone settings menu. SeePhone settings p. 61. ■ Accessing a menu function 1. In the standby mode select Menu. 2. Scroll to the desired main menu (for example Settings), and select it. 3. If the menu contains submenus, select the one that you want (for example Call settings). If the selected submenu contains further submenus (for example Automatic redial), repeat this step. 4.
