Changing the shutter speed for

This function allows you to set the shutter speed manually. The camera
sets the aperture automatically. Set the shutter speed according to the
subject and the type of effect you want.

Sets the shutter speed faster.

Sets the shutter speed slower.
Shutter speed range:
1/2 to 1/1000
(when [NOISE REDUCTION] is set to
[ON]: up to 4 seconds)
When the exposure is correct, the shutter
speed is displayed in green. When the
correct exposure cannot be obtained, the shutter speed is displayed in red.
Note
To avoid camera movement, you are recommended to use a tripod when taking
pictures requiring a slow shutter speed.
