AE lock This function is suitable for situations when optimum exposure is difficult to achieve, such as when there is excessive contrast between the subject and the surroundings. Ex: Advanced shooting functions The landscape appears dark because the sky is bright. Recompose your picture so there is not much sky in the frame and lock the exposure.
