Adjusting the shutter speed (continued) Synchro scan Adjust the shutter speed to match the frequency of the television or computer monitor to minimize the horizontal noise that appears when shooting such subjects. • By switching to progressive mode you can also shoot PAL system television screens. • If SYNC is displayed in grey, it cannot be used with the current recording format. This function will only operate for preset values for each recording format. Synchro scan
Adjust the shutter speed to match the frequency of
the television or computer monitor to minimize the
horizontal noise that appears when shooting such
subjects.
By switching to progressive mode you can also
shoot PAL system television screens.
If SYNC is displayed in grey, it cannot be used
with the current recording format. This function
will only operate for preset values for each
recording format.
Valid setting values will appear to the right of the
adjustment value.
1080/60i, 7±0/60P:
1/60.0 to 1/±50.0 sec
1080/30P, 7±0/30P:
1/30.0 to 1/±50.0 sec
1080/±4P, 7±0/±4P:
1/±4.0 to 1/±50.0 sec
