Troubleshooting ●●Operation Symptom Cause and remedial action ●● Is the AC adaptor securely connected to the AC outlet? ●● Is the power plug of the AC adaptor connected properly? No power ●● Is the network cable for the PoE+ (IEEE802.3at compliant) compatible power supply device and the unit connected properly? ●● Power may not be supplied if the total power limit is exceeded on power supply devices that allow connections to multiple PoE+ terminals. Refer to the operating instructions for the PoE+ power supply device. The status display lamp flashes red continuously ●● The PoE+ power supply conditions do not meet the specifications. Check the power supply device. Replace the batteries. ●● Has the IR ID setting been set correctly? ●● Is there a fluorescent light or plasma monitor near the unit and, if so, is the wireless remote control signal light-sensing area exposed to its light? ●● Is the unit connected to the controller properly? Refer to the Operating Instructions of the controller. Cannot operate using the controller ●● The user authorization must be set to OFF when the AW-RP50, AW-RP120, and AK-HRP200 remote camera controllers are connected in a network. ●● Are all the cameras in the daisy-chain connection turned on? ●● It may be necessary to upgrade the version of the controller so that the controller will support the unit.
